Half of England supporters plan to cheat at World Cup
As the upcoming World Cup 2010 approaches, England fans heading to the Stadiums in South Africa to see the championship have more are their minds than just football.
In a recent survey, UK travel firm JohnnyForeigner.net unveiled the shocking results that almost half of England supporters in committed relationships planned to engage in sex while in the African country. The poll asked England football fans in serious relationships or married who plan on attending the World Cup if they would consider cheating while abroad. Out of all respondents, 45 per cent said yes.
The travel website surveyed 9,000 individuals around the world with England fans taking the top place as biggest cheaters. Brazil came in with 28 per cent of football fans admitting to planned sex escapades, while America and Germany had very few respondents admit intentions of engaging with anyone other than their partners between the bed sheets.
Leon Jacobs, CEO of Johnny Foreigner said, “John Terry’s departure as England captain has not seemed to stop his inspiration off the pitch, with many England fans looking to get busy in the bedroom during the biggest sporting event on the planet.”
The CEO of the travel website also spoke out to caution travellers against harmful practices encouraging anyone engaging in sexual relationships in the African nation to use protection. South Africa has one of the highest rates of the HIV/AIDS virus in the world.
The travel firm is currently providing accommodation, sightseeing, and travel packages for the World Cup 2010.
