Lady Gaga appears to be very grateful for her exceptional rise to fame in just over a year.

The performer is known to communicate and pay regular tribute to her fans via her Twitter page. This time, she decided to post a photograph of herself proudly showing off her brand new tattoo; ‘Little Monsters’.

The flamboyant Gaga opted for the skin deep artwork as a way to pay respect to her numerous loyal fans who have taken part in her stunning success. Little Monsters is the term that Lady Gaga uses to refer to her fans on Twitter.

Just having made an appearance at the Grammys last week, where she and Elton John performed a duet, the 23-year-old made an appointment with a tattoo artist on Monday and had the skin of her left arm etched with the words ‘Little Monsters’ in italic.

The singer posted a picture of her new etching on her page of the social networking website with the caption: ‘Look what I did last night. Little monsters forever, on the arm that holds my mic. x.’

Meanwhile, it’s emerged that Gaga and mega star Beyonce are planning a duet at the Brit Award later this month.

The pair have already contributed to each other’s material. Gaga is featured in the remix of Beyonce’s song Video Phone, and the ex-Destiny’s Child member sang on Gaga’s track Telephone.

They are said to have put the final touches on plans for the duet backstage at the Grammys on Sunday.

It’s already been confirmed that Gaga will sing at the ceremony and Beyoncé – along husband Jay-Z – is also on the bill.

The Brit Awards on scheduled for February 16 London’s Earls Court.

Singer Beyonce and rock legends Aerosmith are set for a new scheme that matches Formula races and top notch pop and rock performances.

Beyoncé, author of hits like ‘Single Ladies’, will open the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix celebrations with a concert on October 29, sources close to the promoters have confirmed. Aerosmith, the notorious bad boys of 70s rock with hits like ‘I Don’t Want to Miss a Thing’ will be the key performers at the grand finale for the race weekend, on November 1.

Rumours have been circulating that Nelly Furtardo and No Doubt were also set to perform at the F1 weekend but these have been denied. There are acts which will perform on the events two other nights but they still have to be announced sometime next week.

All four performances will be held only for race-day ticket holders. People who will not have purchased race-day tickets for the Formula One event, will still have access to a series of free live concert featuring more international artists.

These include Timbaland, Soul II Soul and The Wailers on Tuesday October 27, and Saturday, October 31. Also featured will be top Arabic acts such as Fares Karam, Ragheb Alame and Mohamed Hamaki.

The latest news contradicts rumours surrounding the disbanding of Aerosmith after frontman Steven Tyler had suffered injuries following a fall sustained at a gig during their North American tour.

The Abu Dhabi Grand Prix will be the first ever day/night F1 race.

Pop star Beyonce has finally confirmed plans to perform in Kuala Lumpur, the Malaysian capital, two years after being forced to cancel a performance due the country’s strict dress code.

Despite still-prevalent regulations regarding the dress code, Beyonce is taking on Malaysia and making the country part of her “I am …” World Tour, with a performance scheduled for October 25 at the National Stadium.

Fans of the star will get an opportunity to watch her transform herself into her alter ego, Sasha Fierce.

In 2007, her scheduled gig created controversy and drew opposition from the Islamic Party and concert promoter called off the show saying at the time that “scheduling conflicts” were the reasons.

In Malaysia, female performers are told to dress and behave conservatively.Islamic associations have expressed their anger over the concert and promised to send a protest note to the government officials.

Sabki Yusof, the youth leader of the Pan-Malaysian Islamic Party said in reference to the show that his organization is against sexy Western style performances.

After cancelling her Malaysian gig, the singer played a show in Indonesia, where rules surrounding stage performances are less conservative.

Beyoncé, Lady GaGa and Eminem are among famous pop acts which may sprinkle some stardust on Scotland since they part of the nominations at this year’s Mobo awards.

Other names likely to be at the Glasgow ceremony include rapper Dizzee Rascal, R&B singer Alesha Dixon and renowned jazz artist, Diana Krall.

This year’s nominees for the 14th Music of Black Origin awards were released in London last night. The ceremony is set for September 30 at Glasgow’s Scottish Exhibition Conference Centre. This is first time these awards are being staged outside London since their foundation in 1995.

Glasgow outdid Manchester, Birmingham and Liverpool to win the Mobos, which are seen by about 250 million viewers in 60 countries.

Glasgow tourism officials believe the televised ceremony will provide a huge boost to the city. When Edinburgh played host the 2003 MTV awards in, it was estimated that the event brought about £9 million into the local economy.

Awards organiser Kanya King said last night: “The fact that we are holding the awards in Glasgow this year is testament to the fact that Mobo music is the sound of Britain as a whole. The reception from Scotland has been great and we cannot wait to put on our show up there.”

Glaswegian Paul Morrison is excited about his massive new project.

The man who created T in the Park, a hugely successful music festival held annually in Scotland, has launched the first in a series of glitzy F1 rock concerts at Grand Prix races around the world.

Morrison, who brainchild the Scottish event back in 1992 with the idea of a massive music festival, will be staging three concerts at next month’s Formula 1 Grand Prix in Singapore.

Simple Minds, Beyonce, ZZ Top, Black Eyed Peas, N*E*R*D and Chinese superstar Jacky Cheung will all perform at the shows which will bring the F1 star drivers together with the top names in rock music. F1 drivers, film stars and supermodels will also join the music stars for appearances.

Plans are already underway for massive televised shows at future Formula 1 races and Paul admits the experience gained through T in the Park gave him the confidence and inspired him to create these groundbreaking events.

“It’s a very different thing but in some ways, T in the Park is the blueprint.” Paul said.

“I have a new events company called All The Worlds which is part of the Universal Music Group of companies.

“The global premiere will be at Singapore and it is part of a five year deal”, the 42 year old added.

The 10,000 seat Fort Canning Park in Singapore will host the three-day bash from September 24 to 26, just ahead the Grand Prix on September 27.
