The multi award-winning singer has left many again scratching their heads after her latest antics, which this time included a decent night’s sleep in a Tesco carpark rather than at the sumptuous Dorchester Hotel where her travelling entourage stayed.

After her show at the LG Arena, Lady GaGa and her crew travelled down to London from Birmingham, arriving in the wee hours of Sunday morning. However, the dramatic diva declined to disembark the tour bus as it unloaded her staff and her considerable luggage. Instead, she decided to sleep on board as the bus parked itself for an overnight stay at the local Tesco’s branch.

The lobby of the Dorchester meanwhile temporarily resembled a backstage shambles, as Lady Gaga’s laminated luggage was piled high at reception. The scene was described as ‘bizarre’ by one witness, who also saw one of the crew and the bus driver head back out from the hotel around 15 minutes after arriving. They eventually ended up parked next to Alicia Keys’ touring coach in the West Cromwell Road Tesco carpark, where they the musician simply asked for the ignition to be turned off before turning in for the evening.

Later that morning, Lady GaGa was collected by a Mercedes SLK and a people carrier laden with shopping bags, presumably for the day’s work ahead in the recording studio.

The Poker Face songstress won in the categories of International Female Solo Artist, International Breakthrough Act and International Album, prompting host Peter Kay to suggest that the only award she did not win was International Male – a rather poor attempt at humour relating to hermaphrodite allegations. Despite the quip, Lady Gaga proved more human that former Oasis front man Gallagher who derided the voters who named the band’s ‘What’s the Story Morning Glory’ album as the greatest of the past 30 years.

Lily Allen, who won British Female Solo Artist, was also un-ladylike when prompted to wind up her acceptance speech told organisers to f**k off. The British music industry once again showed its class, or lack thereof, on the international stage, further highlighted by Brit boy band JLS taking out two of the night’s top awards – British Single and British Breakthrough Act. Dizzee Rascal won best British Male Solo Artist in one of the evening’s more triumphant moment, a groundbreaking victory for hip hop, while British Album was won by Florence and the Machine.

The real story of the evening, however, was the behaviour of Liam Gallagher who refused to acknowledge his brother Noel in taking credit for the band’s success, before irking the crowd by throwing both the award and the microphone into the audience – prompting frantic pleas for their return by organisers. Gallagher also said he was unsure if Oasis actually deserved the honour but if the voters wanted to play this game then he’d be happy to turn up. He then expressed thanks that the whole thing was over and asked if he could now go and take lots of Class A drugs. If you’re going to throw your toys in public you should stay home. Forever.

At music’s most important prize event, Gaga showed up in the company of her father Joseph, who took the opportunity – while his prolific daughter paid a visit to the ladies room – and quickly introduced himself to the American star Britney Spears.

Gaga is said to be a long time fan of the pop diva, even having decorated her room with her posters in the past.

When Gaga came back to join her dad, the three are reported to have talked into the night.

A source close to Lady Gaga said the rising star made no secret of her admiration for Britney, proudly expressing how much of a fan she is.

The source said that Gaga mentioned her posters on her wall and how Britney had been a real source of inspiration while she was experiencing hardship as a songwriter.

Gaga was said to be thrilled her dad had managed to introduce himself to the superstar during the aftershow party.

The performers are said to have exchange phone numbers with promises for studio plans.

Although working through a career which is still very young, gaga has already collaborated with Beyonce, Elton John and the British 80s electro-pop band The Pet Shop Boys.

Meanwhile, Gaga has revealed that she still entertains the idea of a ‘plan B’, in case her music career – which is already phenomenally successful – doesn’t workout.

It emerged that the budding star has her sights on a dance career if the music industry proves to be too difficult on the long run.

The star said that when dressed normally and walking through the streets as no one recognises her, she feels like her old self before all the stardom hit her, adding that nothing has really changed.

The performer is known to communicate and pay regular tribute to her fans via her Twitter page. This time, she decided to post a photograph of herself proudly showing off her brand new tattoo; ‘Little Monsters’.

The flamboyant Gaga opted for the skin deep artwork as a way to pay respect to her numerous loyal fans who have taken part in her stunning success. Little Monsters is the term that Lady Gaga uses to refer to her fans on Twitter.

Just having made an appearance at the Grammys last week, where she and Elton John performed a duet, the 23-year-old made an appointment with a tattoo artist on Monday and had the skin of her left arm etched with the words ‘Little Monsters’ in italic.

The singer posted a picture of her new etching on her page of the social networking website with the caption: ‘Look what I did last night. Little monsters forever, on the arm that holds my mic. x.’

Meanwhile, it’s emerged that Gaga and mega star Beyonce are planning a duet at the Brit Award later this month.

The pair have already contributed to each other’s material. Gaga is featured in the remix of Beyonce’s song Video Phone, and the ex-Destiny’s Child member sang on Gaga’s track Telephone.

They are said to have put the final touches on plans for the duet backstage at the Grammys on Sunday.

It’s already been confirmed that Gaga will sing at the ceremony and Beyoncé – along husband Jay-Z – is also on the bill. 

The Brit Awards on scheduled for February 16 London’s Earls Court.

Rumours have been hurling around the last day or so that the two were preparing a duet for the annual gala ceremony, which is set for the Los Angeles Staples Center on January 31.

Details about the song to be performed by the pair have yet to emerged although sources has claimed that the performance promises to one of the most memorable in the event’s history.

Asked about plans for the Sundance Film Festival in Utah this week, Sir Elton didn’t deny the speculations.

As a reconciliatory gesture and to dispel Eminem’s false homophobic stance, Sir Elton collaborated on stage with the famous rapper at the 2001 Grammy Awards.

The 52nd annual Grammy Awards will also include performances by Pink, Beyoncé, Black Eyed Peas and Taylor Swift.

Meanwhile, it’s been reported that X Factor guru Simon Cowell asked rising star Lady GaGa to take part in the US version of the famous talent programme.

The pop music mogul is said to want GaGa as a judge for the first edition of the forthcoming talent series.

GaGa and Cowell have already collaborated professionally as the ‘Bad Romance’ star performed on the X Factor last year after being approached by music mogul.

But it’s believed that Gaga’s schedule won’t permit the singer tohave regular appearances on the show.

A source close to Cowell said that Simon loves Lady Gaga and really appreciates her energy. So far, negations have reported to be going on to establish was kind of involvement could Gaga have with the show.

X Factor America is scheduled to be launched at the end of 2011.

Allen, who is yet to take home one of the very coveted trophies, will be competing with Pixie Lott, Florence And The Machine as well as Lady GaGa, for a spot as a big winner since all four acts have each received three nominations.

The pop star said of the occasion that it was for her a  huge honour to have her music recognised in by the Brits Awards.

JLS star Jonathan “JB” Gill, who was speaking at a ceremony held at the O2 in London on Monday night, said it’s would be amazing to win a Brit.

His band has also received three nominations.

He added that JLS would be performing at this year’s Brits, the 30th anniversary edition.

Included in the best British female category are Allen, Lott and Florence Welch.

Allen and Welch will compete for best British album.

Welch is up against Lott for best breakthrough artist.

Allen has also been nominated for best British single with her track The Fear.

This year’s Brit Awards ceremony will broadcasted next month by ITV1 and will be hosted by actor Peter Kay.

American art-rock star Lady GaGa, is nominated for best international breakthrough act, best international female as well as best international album for The Fame.

Meanwhile, the bosses at the Brit Awards have decided to ignore top selling artist Susan Boyle.

According to HMV representative Gennaro Castaldo, Susan Boyle may gained some success towards the end of the year, but he added that the year had belonged to Lady Gaga.

Nevertheless, it is quite clear that the Brits have snubbed what will probably prove to be the biggest story in British music.

The Official Charts Company said the debut single of New York native Lada Gaga, “Just Dance,” came in at the 2009 official singles chart at number three, behind “I Gotta Feeling” by the Black Eyed Peas.

Susan Boyle, the forty-eight-year-old singer Scotland, gained the number one spot in the 2009 album ranking thanks to her acclaimed “I Dreamed a Dream” which sold more than 1.5 million copies in only six weeks.

The former Britain’s Got Talent runner-up was unknown only a year ago and became an overnight internet sensation after she shocked the world with her stunning audition on the talent programme last April.

In reaching the number one spot in Britain, Boyle edged out Lady Gaga’s “The Fame”, which was relinquished into second place as well as “Crazy Love” by Michael Buble for 2009’s top-selling albums.

As for the weekly singles race in the UK, “Bad Romance” from Lady Gaga has pushed “The Climb” by X Factor winner Joe McElderry off the top spot of the chart.

McElderry, who had failed in his bid to reach the Christmas number win thanks to the controversial anti-XFactor Facebook campaign which supported Rage Against The Machine’s “Killing In The Name”, only managed to stay at the number one sport for one week over new year.

Rage’s track slipped from number two down to the 40th spot on the singles chart in the UK.

According to data compiled by the Official Charts Company, the Scot’s debut CD has sold in excess of 1.4 million copies in just four weeks.

By last Saturday evening, the top three albums in contention for the best-selling album of 2009 had all experienced sales exceeding the million mark. Competing for the total with Boyle are Kings of Leon and Lady Gaga.

Lady Gaga’s album The Fame had been in the top echelons of the charts for the last 49 weeks, while Kings Of Leon’s Only By The Night has had 65 weeks of success.

Just a year ago, the then church worker Susan Boyle was a complete unknown but her audition on the ITV1 talent show Britain’s Got talent became an immediate internet sensation and was the initial step into the world of fame.

According to Billboard magazine, the launch of her studio record Dreamed a Dream represents the very best opening week for a dubut album from a female singer since the 1991 start of the SoundScan sales tracking.

Boyle now counts Hollywood actress Demi Moore as well as her heroine, performer Elaine Page, among some of her devoted supporters.

Her video of her first televised performance is now YouTube’s most popular clip of the year, being watched over 120 million times by fans around the world.

Official Charts Company managing director Martin Talbot said that in only four little weeks, Boyle had become UK’s top album artist by quite an extraordinary margin.

A native of Blackburn, West Lothian, in Scotland, Boyle still calls ‘home’ her simple four-bedroom council house, where her cat Pebbles keeps her company.

Lady GaGa has revealed details of a world tour which is scheduled start in Canada in November and will arrive in the UK next February.

The British part of her tour will kick off in Manchester’s MEN Arena. Her UK dates will be the pop-art singer’s first European shows in 2010.

As well, Lady GaGa is also set to be re-releasing a reworked version of her debut album ‘The Fame’ scheduled for November 23. The two disc album is titled ‘The Fame Monster’, which features eight news tracks , including single ‘Bad Romance’, plus the original album.

Lady Gaga’s announcement comes after a difficult period when she had to cancel her previously planned Fame Kills North American tour which she was to co-headline with Kanye West.

Lady Gaga had claimed creative differences for the cancellation but most of the media put the blame on West’s behaviour during this year’s edition of the MTV Music Video Awards.

On September 13, the notorious rapper barged onstage as young country star Taylor Swift was carrying out her acceptance speech – a move that many have deemed unacceptable. Despite multiple apologies, both publicly and privately made to the country singer, West’s popularity has continued to dip.

The world tour will start on Canadian soil with dates in Montreal, Toronto and Ottawa, before continuing to the US.

According to the Associated Press, concert promoter Live Nation made an official announcement Thursday but did not give more explanation on to the reason for the cancellation.

The tour, called “Fame Kills”, had been scheduled and prepared for months and was ready to kick off on November 10 in Phoenix, Arizona and it was planned to run until at least January with date all over the US and Canada.

The cancellation news is not quite surprising because of all the recent controversy surrounding Kanye West; it’s been less than a month since West grabbed the headlines for interrupting country star Taylor Swift while in the midst of her acceptance speech during the MTV Video Music Awards on September 13.

Feeling the pressure coming from the media and his peers, and probably realising the immensity of such a gaffe, West released a series of apologies. The singer blamed not taking time to grieve over the lost of his mother, who died in 2007 death, as the reason for his bizarre outburst.

West commented that many celebrities never take the time off between appearances, shows and recordings. He added that he had never taken the time to really grieve. The singer that he had gone from music to music and tours to tours.

He further explained that he felt sorry that his emotional pain had over spilled and had caused someone else to suffer.
